So 'The End...' was supposed to mean 'The End of The Beginning', and the show opened with a nifty little video package showcasing the history of NXT to date. The many stars to pass through Full Sail university were showcased, along with the impact they've made on the main roster. It was nicely done, as WWE video packages tend to be, but quite clearly supposed to be a line under an era.

With the brand split coming up, rumours suggest that NXT is going to be somewhat 'raided' in the draft. What this means is that unless they pull double-duty for a while, NXT is going to look very different by the time TakeOver: Brooklyn comes around.

Expect more international talent to arrive, of which Bobby Roode and Eric Young represent just the beginning. Tommy End is on his way, and rumours hint at Moose and Roderick Strong not being far behind. Whatever happens, NXT TakeOver: The End... was supposed to be just that. The End.
