7. Theory Losing MITB?

Dark times are these for young Theory.

It's easy to point towards Vince McMahon's retirement as a creative death knell for 'Mr. MITB', but the truth is that WWE were fudging Theory's push before Vinnie Mac called it a day. There's a real problem in this company with relying on tired loser tropes when it comes to workers who win that briefcase.

Sure, they suit Theory's cocky character (he conjures up images of The Miz), but they also have to be tempered with some sort of success. The dude can't just keep losing match after match now he has the case, then magically be expected to work out if he eventually wins a top belt.

Honestly? It looks like WWE could have Theory unsuccessfully cash in soon so everybody can move on. He's been treated like a bit of an afterthought, and being slapped around by everyone from Bobby Lashley to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is doing him no favours.

Look out for that cash in loss.
