10 New Directions For WWE After SummerSlam 2022

2. Becky Lynch As A Babyface

'Big Time Becks' just went the other way.

After losing to Bianca Belair, Becky extended the hand of friendship to the Raw Women's Champ before helping her stare down Bayley's new group. There was a sly moment here; Lynch caught eyes with Belair, and they nodded towards one another as if to say, 'We doing this?'.

Becky hasn't been babyface since going on maternity leave in 2020. Some might argue that she was face for her SummerSlam 2021 return, but that was short-lived and led to her latest run as an elitist who thinks she's above everyone else in the women's division.

WWE will have to tweak this characterisation slightly now she's baby, but that shouldn't be too hard. Teaming up with Belair for a few weeks will cement Becky's turn, and then she can waltz off to do her own thing elsewhere.

Another star-making feud against a heel like Dakota Kai incoming? That'd be class.
