This is a drastic suggestion, and one which would be absolutely devastating to see happen. The ten months Daniel Bryan was out of action were difficult enough, and so him pulling a CM Punk and leaving the WWE altogether would be a massive blow. However, if those behind the scenes decide to hold him down from ever returning to the position he found himself in exactly a year ago, then perhaps Bryan would be better off elsewhere. A true wrestler at heart, the American Dragon would likely have no issue returning to Ring of Honor or debuting somewhere like Lucha Underground if remaining in the WWE became an issue, but it's hard to imagine this ever happening. Based on what he and others have said, Bryan is generous to a fault. He's not in the business for money or fame; it's because he loves wrestling. For that reason, he probably doesn't care about his position on the card!
