There's no two ways of looking at this. If Roman Reigns and Goldberg do end up squaring off against one another in a No. 1 Contender's Match then one thing must happen. Yes, Roman must destroy Goldberg.
It's hard to see legends we grew up watching get mauled by new talent and we especially don't need to see it happen twice in the same year, but given that Braun Strowman's decisive victory over the WCW icon at WrestleMania was essentially written for Reigns, Goldberg must find himself on the wrong end of another swift and definitive loss (sorry, Bill!).
Of course, we don't yet know if Crown Jewel is going ahead this year because of everything happening, but this could just as easily take place at Survivor Series if it doesn't.
Either way, Roman's unfinished business would be finished and he could finally move back into the Universal Championship picture having established himself as a dominant heel that takes sh*t from nobody and, more importantly, having earned his title shot.
