6. Breezango

The bottom line can be absolutely ruthless sometimes.

After working their way through the ranks of WWE for 10 and 14 years respectively, Tyler Breeze and Fandango were finally rewarded with their first titles, the NXT Tag Team Championships, in August 2020. Ten months later, almost to the day, both were on the chopping block.

Both of these guys have recently resurfaced; Breeze for a special appearance on the independents, and Fandango polishing a new/old persona for a future solo run. The point is, they were genuinely entertaining during their WWE run. They were thrown together in an experiment that probably shouldn't have worked, but it worked gangbusters.

Whether it was The Fashion Files, their roles in the Southpaw Regional Wrestling skits or Breeze's antics on WWE's gaming channel UpUpDownDown, they were part of that uncommon branch of WWE comedy that tries to be funny and is ACTUALLY funny. That's the kind of versatility which any promotion should want from their roster.

Incidentally, Tyler Breeze operates a wrestling school with another tag team partner, so to speak, in AEW's Shawn Spears, fka Tye Dillinger. Maybe The Chairman can put in a good word with Tony Khan.
