10 Most Obnoxious People In Wrestling

6. The Honky Tonk Man

Jerry €˜The King€™ Lawler€™s cousin and the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion in WWF/E history, the Honky Tonk Man has a reputation as being a horrendous individual, bolstered by his time on the independent circuit. Notorious for being a grasping old school carny who will squeeze the last drop of money out of a promoter while delivering a deliberately lacklustre performance, the real life Roy Wayne Farris is also famous for point blank refusing to bump on many occasions, and also has issues with putting his opponents over, despite being an extremely limited wrestler for his entire career. There are rumours that the only reason that his IC run was so long was that he managed to persuade the office on three separate occasions that dropping the belt was bad for business and for his character. But it€™s his personal feuds that have caused the most controversy. He€™s famous for being Eric Bischoff€™s favourite firing during his run as WCW boss €“ and Bischoff fired a lot of people. Farris has had online feuds with multiple wrestling contemporaries in the days before social media was a twinkling in a lonely nerd€™s eye. In addition to that, Farris is despised by Hulk Hogan, €˜Rowdy€™ Roddy Piper, Bret €˜The Hitman€™ Hart, €˜The Nature Boy€™ Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, Jake €˜The Snake€™ Roberts and Ricky €˜The Dragon€™ Steamboat.
