10 On-Air WWE Moments You Weren't Supposed To See

1. Cody Rhodes = Unknown Talent

WWE Clash At The Castle Scotland 2024 Cody Rhodes Talent Name Botch
WWE

Here it is - the one you knew was coming.

Countless fans in attendance for Clash At The Castle 2024 over in Scotland spotted this as it happened, and countless more watching from home would've been screen-shotting themselves silly. There, right before the opening "I Quit" classic between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles, WWE's production team f'd up.

A name plate popped up for Cody, but it didn't say his name. It didn't even get his title right. No, it claimed he was one half of the Women's Tag-Team Champions, and was called: "TALENT NAME". Oops! Clearly, this was a template trigger gone wrong. Somebody in the truck pushed the wrong button, or something.

It probably didn't come across on TV, but the live crowd guffawed at this botch. That gave Rhodes' usually-amped up ring announcer intro an odd atmosphere. People were still laughing by the time the correct WWE Title graphic popped on-screen and the bout kicked off.
