Wrestlers are highly-trained professionals who have spent years perfecting their craft and getting better at what they do. Hence, it is truly baffling how they seem to have the focusing ability of a toddler placed in a room full of toys.

Every time someone so much as breathes on a ring apron or appears at the entrance, these highly trained performers cannot resist the urge to abandon whatever was it they were doing, even if it was making a pin cover to win a match, and proceed to just stare at the person causing said distraction. More often than not, it also leads to the distracted person losing the match.

Aside from the fact it’s plain lazy and makes the wrestlers look like complete idiots, WWE has run this into the ground so much, you might as well include it in wrestling’s rule book by now. Just give us clean finishes, or at the very least come up with something that doesn’t require one person to have the IQ of an untrained puppy.
