10 Pieces Of WWE History Made Over WrestleMania 35 Weekend
8. Black and Ricochet Do The Triple
On the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw for WrestleMania 35, Black and Ricochet unsuccessfully challenged for the Raw Tag Team Championships against The Revival.
On Friday, Black and Ricochet went up against War Raiders for the NXT Tag Team titles at TakeOver: New York.
And, finally, to complete the busiest week in wrestling history, the duo battled The Usos, The Bar, and Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 35.
This makes Black and Ricochet the only team in WWE history thus far to challenge for the Raw, Smackdown, and NXT Tag Team Championships. The fact they did them all in the space of a week is just the icing on the cake.
Whilst certain wrestlers have challenged and even held all three belts in their careers, no two have ever done so as a tandem. Former American Alpha partners, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable, are the only two wrestlers to have held all three tag titles, but they both won the Raw Tag Team Championships with different partners - Jordan with Seth Rollins and Gable with Bobby Roode.
