7. Santino Marella

It is amazing to believe it has almost been eight years already since we had the Miracle in Milan when Santino Marella was chosen out of the crowd to face the late Umaga for the Intercontinental championship. Thanks to the help of Bobby Lashley, Marella won the belt in his debut and has been a mainstay in the WWE since. Unfortunately in September of 2014, Marella announced his retirement from the WWE due to neck injuries. After a successful surgery, Santino received a good prognosis from the doctor, and was allowed to begin training for a possible comeback. Marella has been on Raw a couple of times over the past month or so a a guest general manager for Raw and also to promote the movie Jingle All The Way 2 with Larry The Cable Guy. The Rumble would be a great place for Santino to return, and it would be great to see him actually not just be a comedy novelty and actually be a serious mid-card contender.
