10 Potential Opponents For CM Punk At AEW All Out 2022
4. 'Hangman' Adam Page
Before Punk returned to action a couple of weeks ago fans would have expected the feud between him and 'Hangman' Adam Page to be concluded after their AEW Championship match at Double or Nothing in May. However, recent reports about the real-life heat that they may have with each other make a potential rematch a tantalising prospect.
The AEW Champion even called out the 'Anxious Millennial Cowboy' in his first promo since coming back, which was possibly a shoot. There is clear scope for a continuation of their feud if the pair are even willing to work together as Page does not have much going on besides helping the Dark Order win the Trios title tournament. It is plausible that AEW has purposefully left him a bit directionless so that he can face Punk once again for the world tile at All Out.
It is hard to tell whether the hostility between the two is genuine or if it has just been marvellously worked and leaked out to wrestling journalists to try and make it seem real. Either way, a rematch between the pair would be even better than their first outing due to the ambiguity surrounding real life circumstances.
