10 Potential Wrestling Rematches Fans Should Be Excited For

As is the case for every other match on this list, fans desire for a potential rematch is based on the idea of never having enough of a good thing. Unfortunately, in the case of Jeff Hardy and Sting, that is not the case, with one man in particular looking to make up for one of the worst matches in wrestling history.

While The Charismatic Enigma and The Icon have squared off three previous times, all for TNA Wrestling, the only match fans will remember is from Victory Road 2011. With Sting the TNA Heavyweight Champion, Jeff was number one contender cashing in his rematch clause in the main event of the show.

Fans would come to find out that, as he made his way to the ring, Hardy was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, forcing their match to be all but abandoned, with Sting quickly forcing Jeff down for the pin.

Thankfully, since that incident Jeff Hardy has become sober and returned to the death-defying wrestler that fans know and love. On top of that, Sting is still wrestling, alongside Darby Allin, at the age of 63 years young. After Jeff's departure from WWE, he has arrived in All Elite Wrestling, with all of his screen time alongside his brother Matt, Darby, and Sting.

With Jeff and Darby recently facing off on AEW Dynamite, a rematch with Sting, while assuredly not a match of the year contender, offers both men a chance at redemption.
