10 Precise Moments UFC Careers Ended

3. Ronda Rousey's Second Loss

The writing was on the wall for Ronda Rousey at UFC 207.

Crushed by her KO loss to Holly Holm 13 months prior, 'Rowdy' entered her comeback fight devoid of fire. The confidence with which she once carried herself was gone, as was her aura of intimidation, and her words and actions were those of a fighter who'd already mentally checked out of the sport. This was proven correct inside in the Octagon.

It took Amanda Nunes just 48 seconds to deliver Rousey's second loss. A predictable outcome, but that didn't make it any easier to watch. The biggest star in women's MMA history signed her own death warrant by insisting on standing with the superior slugger, much like she'd done against Holm, and was systemically picked apart, leaving her UFC career in tatters.

Dana White was quick to announce that Rousey would never fight again, and he was right. A lot of factors contributed to her demise, but Nunes swung the final hammer, and after making a flying start to her new career in WWE, it'd be astonishing to see her back in the UFC ever again.
