10 Precise Moments When TNA Careers Ended

5. Drew McIntyre

Take a look at the chap above.

Did anybody know that he'd be WWE Champion three years later, or that Drew's promise to reach the apex of the industry would come true? Probably not, but Galloway (his name in IMPACT) believed in himself. Still, he sold the whole gutted thing rather well on 2 March 2017.

Or, more accurately, Drew sold disappointment with aplomb on 12 January. That's when he taped his IMPACT Grand Title match with Moose; ye olde tape delay curse strikes again then. Well, sort of. Galloway was reborn as McIntyre in old haunt WWE, and he made quite the splash in NXT before landing on the main roster.

TNA's announcers did a fine job of complementing Drew's agony following the match vs. Moose. Their mournful commentary and his sad facial expressions combined to make McIntyre's IMPACT swansong well-worth seeing.

Better days were ahead for the big Scot. Much better days.
