10 Predicted End Dates For WWE’s Big Pushes

4. Kofi Kingston

SOS!

He hears Vince shoutin'!

SOS!

He hears Vince callin'...

...Kofi Kingston into his office to tell him some bad news. Brock Lesnar is going to funnel brain matter from his head in the latest, gruesome attempt to frame the Beast as a psycho killer, à la Randy Orton and Roman Reigns. And who better a victim of this concussive trauma than a beloved, progressive babyface on an all-time career high?

This is how the story ends. This is how all stories end: with the Meme Incarnate cackling his amazing, daft head off as your dreams and projections burn to the godd*mn ground.

But can Kofi Kingston recover for a second act? Since it is likely to materialise as three 1 Vs. 10 gauntlet matches, a WrestleMania 36 Fatal 4-Way SmackDown Live Tag Team Title match is a better and more realistic prospect.

This is less flippant, more expected and fair. WWE capitalised on an organic, heartfelt development fans will remember as a Lightbringer in the endless winter of 2019. If Kofi Kingston isn't booked as an established main event proposition, he at least broke ground and, one hopes, typecasting ahead of the years to come.

Predicted End Date: Autumn 2019
