Has The Undertaker even retired?

When clowning buffoon Dolph Ziggler trolled a SmackDown Live! audience with his best 'Deadman' impersonation, the initial reaction from the crowd seemed to imply that they'd have absolutely no problem with him making a slow stroll back to the squared circle every now and then. It's pretty much the schedule he's held down since siding with brother Kane to dismantle Bray Wyatt yet again at the 2015 Survivor Series.

Everyone had to cry and mope and clap and 'THANK YOU TAKER' their way through the mourning period following Roman Reigns' anticlimactic assault at WrestleMania 33, but just because there's now two strikes against his 'Show Of Shows' record, it doesn't mean The Undertaker can't be financially incentivised to get the hair dye back out for one...more...match.

The John Cena/Undertaker contest could long be the WrestleMania dream match that never was. Talks of the bout were prevalent for years, intensifying after Brock Lesnar gobbled up the fabled undefeated streak at WrestleMania XXX.

Like The Undertaker, Cena shares a major loss against Roman Reigns in 2017. The two fighting over second best to 'The Big Dog' in 2018 as he wins his latest top title would be a fitting WrestleMania farewell for both.
