10 Predictions For WWE In 2020
4. Vince Will Still Be In Power, But Will Have Less Of It
Despite all the calls for him to retire, Vince will still be in power by 2020. However, he won’t have absolute power in the way he does now.
The combination of his increasing age and the growing influence off Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will lead to an overall decrease in Vince’s power in the company. While he’ll still be in charge of the most important things, Triple H and Stephanie will be taking over many more important roles and will be making more important decisions and changes.
For example, by 2020, WWE will be more reflective of HHH’s image of wrestling, and many elements seen in NXT will be more commonplace. These include: a different approach to booking women, more comprehensible and match-related commentary (sorry JBL), a less scripted RAW, and more freedom for the wrestlers to do things themselves rather than having everything done for them by the booking committees and road agents.
Vince will still be in power, and he’ll still be making decisions on who gets the top pushes and which storylines are approved, but in many other cases, the secondary storylines and lower card wrestlers will be dealing with HHH and Stephanie’s vision of WWE instead.
