10 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit About WrestleMania 33

4. Roman Reigns Isn't Turning

The great hope surrounding Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker is that WWE will use the match to finally turn Reigns heel. The signs are certainly there, and Roman has behaved in an increasingly villainous manner towards The Deadman in recent weeks, but will WWE actually pull it off? Unlikely.

Turning would finally slot Roman into a role befitting his negative crowd reactions, and doing it against The Undertaker at WrestleMania sounds perfect. Unfortunately, Triple H’s recent comments mean it almost certainly won’t be happening. The Game rubbished talk of a turn earlier this week, stating that “if 70% of the crowd is booing him, he’s already a heel. We’re just presenting him to you in a way that makes you hate him.”

WWE have shown no sign of giving up on Reigns as “the guy” since his reactions started going south and turning him at 'Mania would require a level of self-awareness not normally associated with the company. At this stage, his turn is just a hopeful pipe dream, and while Roman would definitely be effective as Raw’s top heel, it doesn’t look like happening any time soon.
