10 Problems With Sheamus As WWE World Heavyweight Champion

8. Booked As A Mid Card Comedy Act Earlier In The Show

WWE announced earlier last week that they€™d be presenting one traditional Survivor Series match on the show but didn€™t announce any of the participants for the match until the pay-per-view itself.

After Ryback, The Lucha Dragons and The Usos made their way out as the babyface collective, The New Day saved the day with Xavier Wood€™s exceptional Little Richard hairdo, King Barrett and of course, the briefcase-yielding, Sheamus.

It would have been perfectly acceptable to put Sheamus in this match before he€™d return at the end of the night but instead, they had The Celtic Warrior doing a bit of dancing and telling New Day that he€™s ready to get €œjiggy€ right before the match. Before you pelt me with trash telling me comedy can work with top stars, I completely agree, but when you have a star who an hour later we€™re meant to accept as the top heel in the promotion, it's a horrible booking decision.

Let's leave the comedy to The New Day and get Sheamus to be the ass-kicker that he would be so much more effective as.
