10 Problems WWE MUST Solve In The 2019 Draft

7. Tag Team Turmoil

Arguments for WWE restoring the prestige of tag team wrestling are generally fanciful as they're made in the face of literally decades of evidence showing Vince McMahon's disdain for the format. It's extremely unlikely that the company will ever place tandems like The Revival, Usos, and Viking Raiders on the level most call for, but it's something his company potentially could do in this year's Draft.

WWE's top tag teams are spread too thin at the moment. The obvious solution is to stick every single WWE duo on the same brand, thus making tag wrestling Raw or SmackDown exclusive. That might work, though it may be more sensible to balance the red and blue shows a bit.

SD's tag roster is seriously lacking. Current champions The Revival are Raw wrestlers, leaving The New Day, Heavy Machinery, and The B-Team as Team Blue's only tandems. That hardly seems fair when Raw boast Dash and Dawson, The Usos, Viking Raiders, the soon-to-return AOP, The OC, and more. A few tweaks in SD's favour could therefore make all the difference.

They probably won't, though.
