10 Protests WWE Fans Can Do To Change WrestleMania 31 Main Event

5. Boycott WrestleMania Completely

The other idea for sending a message at WrestleMania would be to just boycott the event as a whole. Don't go to it. Don't buy tickets. Many fans leave it until the last minute before they purchase their tickets anyway. Well, this year, just don't bother at all. Loss of ticket sales is what will really bother Vince. Critical comments mean nothing. Just like Eric Bischoff in 1998 WCW, Vince doesn't care of criticism when his commercial performance is so strong. The internal logic is "the boos don't mean anything, the bums in seats prove we are doing the right things." Fans shouldn't allow that mentality to exist. Take a shot at Vince in the one area where he pays attention. If WrestleMania 31 draws one of the poorer gates (when a potential 70,000 capacity is up for grabs) then the company will know something went seriously wrong with their booking.
