9. Does He Accept Vince McMahon's Apology?
I would like to apologise. Punk got his severance papers on the day of his marriage and that was a coincidence. I want to personally apologise for that, Vince McMahon told Steve Austin during WWE Network's Stone Cold Podcast. The question now is, does Punk accept that apology? He described his termination date as "ridiculous" during his interview last week, and referenced it as a reason why he would never go back to WWE. Hopefully, Vince's comments have allowed Punk some healing in regard to that bitterness. It wouldn't be surprising to hear Punk play it cool, like he didn't hear the podcast, so maybe he'll just blow the entire question off. Privately, he's got to have heard it. Surely he will have taken some comfort from Vince's apology. On the other hand, maybe Punk will just write the entire apology off as meaningless BS.
