8. Would He Come Back If Offered A WrestleMania Show Closing Main Event?

A big conclusion Punk made in the Cabana podcast was that he considered himself a failure because he never went on last at a WrestleMania. That throws open the question, if WWE offered him a show closing spot at a future Mania, would he go back to do business? Hopefully, the answer would be yes. If it really meant as much to him as he made out, then he shouldn't even need to think about saying yes. So maybe the real question we should have, is would WWE ever offer Punk a show closing gig? After the Cabana interview, you would have thought not. But then came Vince's interview with Austin, which really went to some lengths to leave the return door open for Punk. Even Triple H could be sold on giving Punk a show closing spot in the right context. All the hype and money on the table is something that any businessman would have to think about.
