6. Lack Of Star Focus
Since his comeback, Batista has been the third wheel. Firstly he was overshadowed by Bryan and Orton, secondly by Triple H and The Shield. The lack of a star focus upon himself must be hurting Batista's sense of ego. He has merely been a cog in Bryan's overcoming of The Authority, going on to be a support act in Triple H's feud with The Shield. This must have greatly upset Batisa, he was promised a star singles run with the WWE Championship, he instead ended up slotting in wherever he could fit. WWE promised him the world and delivered him nothing. It won't just be Batista upset with his inability to function as a singles star, WWE must be frustrated as well. Getting a main event legend to come out of semi-retirement isn't cheap, the company will have invested a lot of money in Batista but he hasn't been able to deliver the goods they expected. Not having the ball to run with will be a bone of contention for Batista, no doubt about it, he expected to be the man.
