10 Reasons Dean Ambrose Is Better Than Roman Reigns

7. It's Easier To Get Behind A "Lunatic Fringe" Than A "Lone Wolf"

The lone wolf persona that Roman Reigns is playing right now basically centers around the fact that he is the only one who is fighting the battles, and no one else is truly with him or on his side. It's not completely true as he does have Dean Ambrose, but the WWE has basically split them off into their own paths since the breakup of The Shield. The thing with the lone wolf persona is that we have seen in many forms of entertainment over the years, and there really isn't much deviation from that story that you can do to make it different and innovative. The loose cannon persona of the "Lunatic Fringe" has been done before in movies, television, and even in wrestling (with a lot of comparisons to Brian Pillman), but this type of persona allows for more creativity. Ambrose plays the part perfectly, and the crowd completely can get behind him as a face as it is a character we haven't really seen before, especially as a babyface. Whenever Ambrose turns heel, the crowd can absolutely hate the character as well because of the creativity that comes with the persona.
