2. Shinsuke Nakamura
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CldHTkYGwog Shinsuke Nakamura has one of the most compelling career trajectories of any wrestler on the planet. He was a bright prospect for New Japan when he first arrived in 2002, quickly earned the name Super Rookie and was the youngest person to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship a year later at only twenty-three. Years later, after unsuccessfully challenging Brock Lesnar for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, Nakamura decided there was still more for him to learn so he left New Japan to travel to Mexico, Brazil, Russia and even Lesnars personal gym. He returned to New Japan later in the year significantly larger and more of a threat than ever. In 2009, he ushered in the return of Strong-Style wrestling, incorporating a lot more stiff kicks into his arsenal, including a devastating running knee strike to the head known as the Boma-Ye! He also made the relatively new IWGP Intercontinental Championship a prestigious title, and has been champion four times out of the titles total ten championship reigns. Nakamura is also one of the most entertaining and flamboyant professional wrestlers, and compared to many Japanese stars who are no-nonsense, Nakamura is full of nonsense. His wardrobe is very Michael Jackson-in-Thriller, and his flailing Yeaoh! taunt is much more WWE than NJPW.
