10. He Ended Goldberg's Undefeated Streak
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lu1VBP4kVGY Then-leader of New World Order (nWo) spinoff The Wolfpac, Nash was one of WCWs most popular stars in 1998. Some could argue that the only WCW attraction more popular than Big Sexy that year was a force of nature known as Goldberg. Amassing a win-loss record of 173-0, Goldberg was the hottest thing on two legs with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in tow. It didnt seem like anyone could stop him. Come November, at the conclusion of World War 3 WCWs annual sixty-man, three-ring Battle Royal a perfect storm had formed. Nash outlasted 59 other men to earn a shot at Goldbergs title at Starrcade. The stage was set for a No Disqualification Match with the title up for grabs. The showdown came and after ten minutes of action and a little bit of interference, Goldberg had Nash right where he wanted him until Scott Hall, Nashs long-time running partner, hopped up on the apron and shocked Goldberg with a stun gun. Nash grabbed Goldberg, hit the Jacknife, and gave us one of the biggest kayfabe shockers of all-time. 173-1. Maybe the tactics the led to the victory were a little suspect, but on paper the results will read Kevin Nash defeated Goldberg for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Besides, Scott Hall using a stun gun was well within the rules of a No Disqualification Match. Behind the scenes, fans believe that Nash booked himself into the position, as it has since become knowledge that he was once responsible for WCWs storylines as a booker. However, Nash and others in the know maintain that he did not receive that position until a few months after Starrcade.
