5. The King Of Strong Style: Shinsuke Nakamura

If you're tuning into NJPW for the first time and have never seen Shinsuke Nakamura wrestle, you're in for a treat. You're also going to be angry at yourself for taking this long to jump on the band wagon. Simply put, Nakamura is one of the best wrestlers in the world today. He won Wrestler Of The Year in the 2014 Wrestling Observer Newsletter year end awards, and he'll most likely finish near the top for 2015, as well. There have been rumors that WWE is interested in signing the 35 year old Nakamura, but many long-time fans of the "King Of Strong Style" hope that this never happens. There are questions on whether WWE would know how to book him properly, but in NJPW, Nakamura rules the world.
While Tanahashi, Okada, and Styles have traded places at the top of the cards this year in NJPW, battling over the IWGP Heavyweight Title, Nakamura has held steady as the workman's IWGP Intercontinental Champion. He's had great match after great match this year, just as he does almost every year. For a recent example of Nakamura working to perfection, check out his match with Bullet Club's Karl Anderson at November's Power Struggle event. Better yet, check out Nakamura vs. Tanahashi in the G1 Climax Tournament Finals this past August 16th.
