After all the aesthetic and business reasons why Vince loves Reigns, there's also the fact that The Big Dog is genuinely a great in-ring wrestler and worker. He can go on the mic and he can work a great match, meaning Vince can count on him no matter what the plan is. He had several contenders for match of the year in 2015, and his selling for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania was phenomenal. Lesnar became that much bigger of a star after that match, with Reigns being the one to really put over Suplex City. A month after that, he gave Big Show one of the best matches of his two decade career. McMahon had to have loved that! And it isn't just the big moves that Reigns is so good at, he's also good at the little things. He plays his little expressions, he moves with purpose, everything he is doing is 'working' to some extent. The old wrestling fan in Vince (it's buried in there somewhere!) has to be loving The Big Dog's work.
