10 Reasons To Be Excited About The Rest Of 2020 In WWE
1. The Draft
A shuffle in the roster could warrant the breath of fresh air WWE desperately needs right now.
For better or worse, the majority of superstars seem to have settled into a Raw, SmackDown or NXT comfort zone. It's high time all of that changed. With umpteen tag teams splitting, and the same number of characters turning, a mass draft is long overdue. If done with care, it could pave the way for some solid progression among talent, as well as filling in the gaps left by injuries and absences.
It also looks certain that NXT will be thrown into the draft mix. Its landscape has already shifted after losing Keith Lee to Raw, and the temporary loss of Karrion Kross' due to injury. Likewise, all three brands have been left somewhat stranded due to problems both internal and external. Drafting could be the most efficient way to shock the brands back into a sense of purpose and give this final quarter of the year some well needed distance from the three quarters building to it...
... and thankfully so. Especially in Raw's case.
