7. The Authority Is Back In Power, But Bryan Knows How To Deal With Them

My initial thought when it was announced that Daniel Bryan would return at the Royal Rumble match was that his path should be easier because The Authority is gone. Only an hour after the announcement, The Authority is back in power after Seth Rollins forced John Cena's hand thanks to the threat of paralyzing Edge with a Curb Stomp on his surgically repaired neck. While we have not heard The Authority speak yet (that will come next Monday), we are not sure if Bryan is even a target now. John Cena seems to be the likely target of The Authority, but Daniel Bryan is a good friend of Cena's so he could get wrapped back up in the feud once more. Daniel Bryan's Wrestlemania journey to defy The Authority was a long nine-month struggle from being screwed at Summerslam to regaining the championship at Wrestlemania 30. If The Authority wants to try to derail Bryan's chance at a second straight main event at Wrestlemania, Bryan already has the past experience to draw from and overcome the odds.
