10 Reasons The Undertaker Rivalry Was CM Punk's Greatest Feud

6. It Put Punk Out

It's not often that a rivalry in professional wrestling actually puts one of its superstars out of action for any real period of time. But on the night after WrestleMania 29, in the midst of an angry promo, CM Punk walked out of the Monday Night Raw arena and was not seen again for two months. At this point, CM Punk was one of the most over performers on the entire WWE roster. It was a real shock to see him so disgruntled at his own failure that he literally just walked out of the door. This final moment of the rivalry between Punk and the Undertaker did more to put over its significance than anything else. After having already lost his title, coming up short against the Undertaker at WrestleMania was a double whammy of disappointment for CM Punk. By the time Punk reappeared at the Payback pay-per-view event two months later, it was evident that his battle with the Undertaker had left him scarred.
