10 Reasons You Should Watch Lucha Underground

6. The Production Values Are Excellent

http://youtu.be/hq7s3Ktvh1o Backstage segments are shot novella style. It's not the same way that we've seen for years in other wrestling companies. When Chavo talked to Konnan in a scene it's not like they were standing in a locker room or in some backstage interview area. It was a set like you'd see in a movie. That's a brilliant way to make it look like a unique show rather than a traditional wrestling broadcast. There are times when they show things from different angles like the camera they have on the roof of the building. It gives the viewer a unique perspective where they might show you how far a guy jumped across a ring to hit a move or perhaps a shot showing somebody attempting outside interference. We don't want to see wrestling shot the same way all the time. Think of it like a movie. If every movie looked the same it would be boring. The same thing goes for pro wrestling. That's why Lucha Underground deserves a lot of credit for being bold in how they present their product.
