6. Absolute Disregard For Storytelling Logic In Backstage Skits

Angry and upset over the fact that Ric Flair and Lex Luger had upset the apple cart, Vince Russo took out his frustrations on The Harris Boys and The Mamalukes. A backstage segment showed him verbally chewing them out, before slamming his baseball bat against a nearby wall and pretty much threatening the quartet.

Once again, the supposed vicious heel unit were made to look like chumps. They stood there and let the smaller authority figure tell them off, rather than telling him to shove it and getting up in Russo's face. During the skit, Russo was inconsolable, furious over what had happened.

Less than 30 minutes later, that same man was shown in another backstage segment telling Eric Bischoff he had to keep calm. It was as if these promos were spliced at random, with no real regard for telling a coherent story.

In total, Vince Russo appeared over a half dozen times on the pay-per-view, which was at least 5/6 times too many. This was an incredible display of overkill, and the story being told didn't even add up to anything logical.
