10 Reasons Why Big Show Needs To Retire From WWE

1. He Doesn't Have Creative Support Anymore

We€™ve talked about how he can€™t put anyone over anymore because he loses too often, and we€™ve discussed his increasingly-ineffective wrestling abilities. Now, we move onto the biggest wrestling-related reason why Big Show should retire: creative doesn€™t have any serious plans for him. This has manifested itself in the form of Big Show€™s constant changes in allegiance. He has turned face and heel so many times, and often without explanation or proper planning, which has led to him being one of the least-interesting characters on RAW. People don€™t buy his allegiances and thus his storylines and character development aren€™t believable. Because of his lack of a clearly-defined role, he finds himself in a sort of character purgatory; he isn€™t a guy to be cheered because he€™ll stab his friends in the back, nor does he get enough boos because more and more people are growing apathetic to him instead of believing in his motives. It also doesn€™t help that his mystique as an intimidating giant was damaged irreversibly when they made him cry on TV on so many occasions. As a result, he€™s just€there, taking up space on the show. The big giant wrestler who has random feuds without much explanation, and long-term planning isn€™t done with him like it should be. Thus, Big Show finds himself in Christian€™s position: an experienced veteran who can still wrestle but lacks creative support to actually have a place on WWE programming. Without this, Big Show can€™t expect to have success in the future and, as such, he should seriously consider retiring. What do you think? Do you think the Big Show should retire? If so, can you think of another reason why he should do so? Let us know in the comments section below.
