The New Japan Pro Wrestling/All Elite Wrestling relationship may not even be a relationship, tragically, but Chris Jericho of the few performers to navigate the choppy waters between the organisations, without even requiring his own personal cruiseliner (but more on that later).

Jericho's gradually become part of the furniture in NJPW, but that's no bad thing - with the dream matches almost all delivered, any future appearances can be about him creating unexpected moments with wrestlers that could benefit from his reflected spotlight almost as much as the entire company did when he first arrived.

An AEW World Title Match at Wrestle Kingdom would be as healthy for the belt as the show, not least with a Jericho-sized star at the centre of the action.
