10 Reasons Why Chris Jericho’s Post-WWE Run Is His Best Ever

3. Chris Jericho Is ALL IN

On something of a handshake deal with Vince McMahon per Pacific Ocean separation, Chris Jericho made a judgment call when he arranged with then-hidden benefactor Tony Khan to fly between a Fozzy gig and 2018's ALL IN so he could attack Kenny Omega dressed as Penta El 0 M.

This wasn't just to reignite his feud with 'The Best Bout Machine' - this fuelled rampant speculation about his future outside of WWE. And, evidently, rightfully so.

Jericho effectively nailed his colours to an as-yet-untitled All Elite Wrestling mast by ostensibly going against McMahon's wishes and working the event, but it was apparent by this point how little he needed to care. The rousing success of his work in NJPW along with financial freedom gave him no cause for concerning himself with the WWE machine when he could furnish his own incredible engine with a brand new life in wrestling.

The man that paid for his flight was ready to embrace him as the star he needed for his passion project too.
