10 Reasons Why Seth Rollins Vs. Triple H Feud Makes Perfect Sense

9. Triple H Held The WWE World Heavyweight Championship In Seth Rollins' Absence

Once it was announced Seth Rollins' injuries were worse than originally expected, he was forced to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Championship he had held for the better part of 2015. A 16-man tournament immediately commenced to determine a new title holder, and although Roman Reigns and Sheamus traded the title in the months that followed, it was Triple H who was in possession of the prestigious prize heading into WrestleMania 32.

Rollins' goal all year had been to headline WrestleMania as champion, but because of the injuries, that wasn't possible for him. Triple H had the honor of doing that instead. Would Triple H have been champion had Rollins not gotten hurt? If you were to ask "The Man" himself, odds are he probably wouldn't have had.

It was essentially the equivalent to if Rollins' girlfriend left him when he got injured and getting together with Triple H and Roman Reigns in his absence. It's bad enough that his former friend has been with her for as long (and as many times) as he has, but his mentor, too? Not cool, dude. Not cool.
