10 Reasons WrestleMania 32 Will Be Forgotten

6. A Lack Of Focus In The Booking

When WWE booked WrestleMania 32, it was like their biggest priority was accommodating as many wrestlers as possible on the card.

Astonishingly, there was only a single straight up one on one match, AJ Styles versus Chris Jericho. Everything else was either a gimmick match, or a multi person match.

That lack of focus was compounded by the segments. Getting veterans on for nostalgia pops came at the expense of some of today's prospects. It wasn't about looking to the future, it was about looking to the past. Even with things like Shane and Hunter in the main events, it just felt a bit outdated.

Yes, Hunter can go, he's great, but his main event gig did feel like an ego trip. You can't help but feel his booking wasn't focused on what was best, it was focused on him wanting to main event the biggest wrestling show of all time. He's always been a history buff, he's always cared about his legacy more than he should.
