10 Reasons WWE Champion Brock Lesnar Is Worth $5 Million A Year

4. Must-See TV

With the exception of three former members of The Shield, no one in WWE has been booked anywhere close to as well as Brock Lesnar has in 2014. While his return may have stumbled out of the gate and his first few matches leading to some questionable decision making, since SummerSlam 2013, The Beast has been on an absolute tear and handled as well as could possibly be expected. One of the scourges of the three hour Raw era is that every show is going to be chocked full of some filler, and even top guys are subjected to directionless creative that has fans sitting on their hands complacent. Take a character like Bray Wyatt for example: here€™s a guy who energized the fanbase with his unique persona and out-of-this-world excellent promos. Now he€™s floundering because they€™ve done a poor job creating compelling stories for him and giving us a reason to care. That isn€™t Wyatt€™s fault€”he€™s awesome€”that€™s a management issue. Lesnar hasn€™t fallen victim to any such shenanigans, largely because his paycheck won€™t allow for him to fall by the wayside. Every time he makes an appearance WWE is going to work to maximize his exposure, and so far they€™ve done a great job in that department. If Brock is on Raw or a ppv, you can bet it€™s going to be a major segment or match, and that makes him a must-see performer. Something that WWE is sorely lacking.
