10 Reasons WWE Shouldn't Bring Back Alberto Del Rio
5. He Doesn't Offer Anything
Let's be honest: Alberto Del Rio's stock has dropped considerably compared to when he initially arrived in WWE back in 2010. He may now have multiple world title wins under his belt, but aside from that, he offers nothing new to any of WWE's three brands.
His mic skills haven't improved in years and he's hardly interesting as a character, leaving his above-average in-ring abilities as his only valuable attribute. Del Rio has put together a nice string of matches for himself in IMPACT, but then again, WWE has such a slew of incredible athletes currently on their roster that there is no need for him to be re-signed.
WWE has certainly struggled to create stars in recent years, and even if Del Rio were brought back in an enhancement role to help make the up-and-coming competitors look more credible, he has no real worth. A win over Del Rio doesn't hold much meaning, asking the question of what purpose he would serve in today's WWE.
