10 Receipts Wrestlers Still Owe

7. Hardcore Holly (Kurt Angle)

This is something Kurt Angle has discussed on his podcast.

According to Angle, it was important to take responsibility and show concern for Hardcore Holly following a moonsault gone wrong on the 29 June 2000 episode of SmackDown. During the spot, Kurt's knees smashed into Holly's bicep and legitimately shattered his arm.

Devastated, the then-newbie Angle visited Bob in hospital, fetched him food whenever he needed it and tried to make up for the injury. At no point on his pod did Kurt reveal whether or not Holly was willing to forgive him for what happened. He might've, but Angle didn't go into details on that.

There could've been lingering heat.

Even if he did forgive, it's still true that Holly didn't return the favour after healing up. Maybe he didn't see the point, or maybe he thought it might not be wise to target a gold medal-winning wrestler. Whatever the case, Bob never avenged that broken arm.
