10 Shocking Returns That Could Happen At WWE Night Of Champions

7. Bad News Barrett

Of all the potential superstars who could return at Night of Champions, few would make more sense and be easier to script than Bad News Barrett. BNB has been sidelined since June with a separated shoulder, but he hasn€™t been completely invisible. In July, presented the winner of an Intercontinental Championship battle royal (The Miz) with the IC title he was stripped of. More recently, he€™s appeared on the JBL and Cole Show on YouTube. Considering how much of Barrett€™s gimmick is centered on coming out and delivering short promos, this writes itself. With the Intercontinental Championship on the line at Night of Champions, it wouldn€™t be unfathomable for Barrett to walk out and deliver some bad news to Miz and Dolph Zigger €“ that no matter who wins the match, they€™re just keeping the title warm until he returns and wins it back. Boom, Barrett stays relevant, and the IC title is given a long game storyline.
