2. One Day - Hulk Hogan, Kane, Mankind, Triple H, Daniel Bryan
Over its 51 year history, just 43 different men have held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. And thus, to have even held the belt at all is quit the accomplishmentif even it was only for a solitary day. Hogan was the first to join the one-day club, after he was stripped of the belt following the aforementioned controversy surrounding his 1991 victory over the Undertaker. More recently, Daniel Bryans one-day tenure came in similar circumstances; Triple H vacated the title after referee Scott Armstrong counted a suspiciously pinfall in Bryans victory over Randy Orton at Night of Champions 2013. Others in this category include Bret Hart, Mankind and Kanethough unlike Hogan and Bryan, their defeats came in competitive action on the Monday showing of Raw following their PPV wins. Bret and Mankind have a right to feel somewhat wrongedStone Cold Steve Austin and Shane McMahon involvements were arguably the deciding factors in either mans defeat. However Kane was beaten cleanly in the centre of the ring by Austin in what remains his only run with the WWE title.
