10 Sickening WWE Injury Surgeries You Need To See

10. Triple H

Take a look at the inside of Triple H's leg, as blood starts to gush down his sliced open flesh. The necessity of this surgery stemmed from Hunter's second serious quad tear in his WWE career. The fateful night was January 7th 2007, when DX faced off against the team of Edge and Randy Orton at New Year's Revolution. Fifteen minutes into the match, Triple H performed a spinebuster on Orton. Right away, it was clear that something went horribly wrong. What had happened was Hunter's right quad had torn, similar in fashion to his left quad tear from six years previous. This is one of the most serious injuries an athlete can suffer, basically rendering their leg useless for months on end. Right away, WWE arranged for vital surgery to help repair the leg. The Game went into surgery on January 9th, with Dr James Andrews successfully performing the operation. As you can see from the photos, Hunter's leg was fully cut open during this ordeal. He was stitched back up and ended up returning to the ring just seven months later.
