Punk is now a writer for Marvel Comics and bluntly said a return to the ring was far from his thoughts at this time. Surely, if he does make a return to the ring and fails to stay for a sustained period of time, he has become what he so openly criticised: A part-time guy on mega, mega bucks. If Punk does return, as almost seemingly all of the WWE Universe wants him to, he will receive the massive pay day he has longed for, such is the demand for him. The trap he must avoid is coming back just for that. He will have to pull up some serious trees to avoid becoming what he was so critical of on Cabana's show. Punk made his comic debut In Februarys THOR ANNUAL #1, teaming up with artist Rob Guillory.
