10 Signs Dolph Ziggler Could Be On His Way Out Of WWE
1. Other Midcard Wrestlers Have Left WWE And Found Success Elsewhere
It's very rare nowadays for WWE to hold "massive firing Fridays" like they used to in the past, when they would cut a bunch of wrestlers. Instead, they hold onto them to ensure they can't go elsewhere because they're aware they would be valuable assets to the independent scene and other organizations.
Cody Rhodes, of course, is the most prominent example. As Dusty Rhodes' son, WWE was never going to fire him, but he took a chance on himself and left on his own in May 2016. It didn't take long for him to create buzz on the indies by wrestling across the country and all over the world, winning championships everywhere he went. He legitimately looks happy every time he steps in a wrestling ring nowadays.
Dolph Ziggler would be wise to follow that formula. Similar to Cody, The Bullet Club could be a perfect fit for Ziggler, and a stint in New Japan Pro Wrestling could revive his career. Furthermore, he could do really well in companies such as Ring of Honor and Lucha Underground, where his wrestling skills would not be wasted.
It is better for wrestlers to explore other endeavours these days than to see their stock gradually drop in WWE. Ziggler can be the next success story if he decides to call it quits.
