The inaugural NXT Women's champion was a fan favourite in NXT thanks to her refreshing 'Anti-Diva' gimmick. She stood out from the others as the Gothic brawler who wasn't afraid to bring the fight. She criticized Summer Rae for her Barbie doll image and made it clear that she was the Diva of Tomorrow, not unlike AJ Lee who was possibly the only popular Diva on the main roster at the time. How things have changed. Let's just say that the Paige now appearing on Raw and SmackDown is much different. The 'Anti-Diva' and 'Diva of Tomorrow' labels were dropped and she was forced into a half-hearted feud with AJ that saw her become the token crazy chick, then a heel, then a face going up against the Bellas (a lot) then a heel again and now she's possibly a face. Not only is Paige on her way to having as many heel turns as Big Show but the tomboy-ish gimmick has dwindled. It would be refreshing to see Paige come back in all her Anti-Diva glory with the intention of kicking butts and taking names, although it's great to have her out of the title picture for a while. Hopefully one day her and Emma can resume the feud they had in NXT on the main roster and we can see Paige once again flourishing as the Anti-Diva.
