10 Stars WWE Are Booking Perfectly
1. Braun Strowman
Wins and losses matter.
Braun Strowman stomped many a jobber on his march to the main event, and continues to trade wins with Roman Reigns. This doesn't so much feel like 50/50 booking so much as two all-powerful, inseparable entities fated to destroy one another. Neither wins; one simply survives their crazed, over-the-top wars.
If you read Strowman's words on paper, you might charitably describe them as childish. "I'm not finished with you yet!" is something a parent would say to their child. With Strowman, it works because he is Roman's daddy. It's a strange joke, really, but one that constantly delivers. Strowman has been booked as this irresistible destroyer, a berserk agent of chaos. His bizarre social media game and kayfabe-exploding road exploits seem incongruous precisely because, at this point, you can completely buy him as the Monster Among Men he is billed as.
It's hard to gauge where the ceiling is, if indeed there is one, for Strowman. He's relentlessly, deliriously entertaining. He can go at WWE's lengthy main event standard. He gets better by the week. He is a triumph for a company which at times cannot remove the packaging from an out of the box star.
